About Us

Who We AreFurryBee Green Ark is a registered Australian not-for-profit organisation dedicated to serving our community through compassion,
practical action, and environmental stewardship.
Registered under the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission Act 2012 (Cth), our organisation was established with a clear, dual purpose: to relieve the suffering of all animals and to protect and preserve our natural environment. We approach our mission by proudly serving our communities with humility, integrity, and deep compassion.
Our Faith & PhilosophyWe are a predominantly Christian organisation inspired by the timeless example of St. Francis of Assisi. His profound love for animals, dedicated care for creation, simplicity of life, and service to those in need continue to guide our daily work. While our core values are firmly rooted in the Christian faith, we operate with a spirit of complete inclusivity—we warmly welcome people of all faiths, backgrounds, and walks of life to walk alongside us.Our Mission & VisionOur foundational work is built upon the principles of Preserve, Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle, alongside a core commitment to Act in Good Will and Do No Harm.
Through these values, we actively support the conservation of native flora and fauna, the rehabilitation of natural habitats, and community education on sustainable living.
Our ultimate, long-term vision is the establishment of an inclusive sanctuary where animals, nature, and humans can thrive together in harmony.
Hands-On Projects & Community ImpactWhen profit is not the motivation, it is truly surprising what a dedicated community can achieve. FurryBee Green Ark brings its mission to life through practical, impactful grassroots projects, including:
• Waste Reduction & Recycling: Managing specialized metal
and plastic recycling initiatives to divert valuable materials from landfills.
• Community Retail & Markets: Operating market stalls and community retail outlets whenever resources allow. These spaces extend the life of pre-loved goods, countering the harmful effects of fast fashion and a throwaway culture.
• Charitable Distributions: Directly sorting and
distributing charitable donations to those who need them most.
• Sector Collaboration: Working closely with fellow advocacy
and community organisations.
We are incredibly proud to have supported vital causes and groups over the journey, including Animals Australia, Dogs’ Refuge Home WA, Swan Animal Haven, Containers for East Timor, the Animal Protection Society of WA,
and Pay It Forward, among others.
Join the Movement – We Need Your Help!Caring for our planet and looking after one another is a responsibility we all share. We cannot do this vital work alone—we genuinely need your support.
Whether you want to donate, volunteer, or partner with us, we invite you to get on board with our movement today. Together, we can create lasting, meaningful change for animals, people, and the environment.
Thank you for all your support,
The FurryBee Family

Animal Welfare

Our Care for AnimalsOur deepest commitment is to the prevention and relief of animal suffering, ensuring they receive the ongoing care, dignity, and protection they deserve. By funding grassroots initiatives, advocating for the vulnerable, and standing alongside trusted rescue groups, we actively work to create a world free from animal cruelty. The Vision: Our Healing SanctuaryThe crown jewel of our long-term vision is the creation of an all-inclusive sanctuary. This safe haven will serve as a permanent landscape of peace and protection—a unique space where animals can recover, nature can restore, and humans and animals can mutually heal, connect, and flourish together.

Conservation & Sustainability

Sustainability in ActionWe turn environmental responsibility into everyday practice by actively fighting against fast fashion and a throwaway culture. Through our specialized collection and sorting initiatives, we target materials that would otherwise clog our ecosystem, giving them a second life and closing the loop on waste.
Our active focus areas include:
• Material Recycling: Operating dedicated metal and plastic reclamation streams to capture and divert valuable resources.
• Repurposing & Retail: Managing community market stalls and retail outlets that directly extend the lifecycle of pre-loved goods.
• Resource Redistribution: Working alongside fellow community networks to ensure donated goods find meaningful new homes instead of ending up in landfills.

Nature & Environment

Cultivating Community & Caring for the LandTrue environmental stewardship begins right where we live. We believe that protecting the natural beauty of our countryside and fostering a kinder, deeply connected community go hand in hand. By bringing people together to care for our shared spaces, we are working to leave the land healthier, greener, and more vibrant for generations to come. Our Community Hubs & Vintage SpacesOur market stalls and vintage retail spaces are more than just shops—they are community hubs built on collaboration and shared responsibility. Powered by community effort and a non-profit motivation, these welcoming spaces
serve a vital purpose:
• Preserving the Countryside: Providing a localized alternative to the destructive footprint of fast fashion and mass manufacturing.
• Extending Hope: Reinvesting community energy into projects that support local people and restore our natural spaces.
• Fostering Connection: Proving that when people unite for a purpose beyond profit, we can achieve remarkable things for both our communities and the planet.
